Addictions and Bad Dreams

My current obsessions, time wasters and indulgences, in no particular order, are:

Redd Kross' Researching the Blues
The L.A pop machine Redd Kross released their first studio record since 1997 a few weeks ago. Consisting of the line up of Jeff McDonald, Steven McDonald, Robert Hecker and Roy McDonald (the line-up from Redd Kross' classic 1987 album Neurotica), the has put together a bunch of catchy rock ditties.

Choir! Choir! Choir!
After taking the summer off of regular Tuesday rehearsals and recordings, my friend Nobu Adilman and collaborator Daveed Goldman have started new Wednesday night sessions of Choir! Choir! Choir!, a sing-a-long ensemble from Toronto.

Turkey bacon.
I don't eat pork (and I also hear there is a bacon shortage), so I need to get my fix somehow.
